OUR Story
We’re Fin and Henry, two friends from New York City who met in high school and ended up starting a sock company from opposite sides of the Atlantic.
It started with a simple idea. We both needed better socks. Not flashier, not trendier — just socks that felt good, looked clean, and didn’t fall apart after a few washes. We couldn’t find what we were looking for, so we decided to make it ourselves.
We built PANDA from scratch. Between college classes, late-night FaceTimes, and a ridiculous number of spreadsheet tabs. Fin’s in Scotland. Henry’s in Maine. We ship from Pennsylvania. It’s not perfect, but it works.
We’re not trying to be a lifestyle brand. We’re not chasing trends or hype. We just care about making something solid. Our socks are made from bamboo, they’re minimal, and they’re built to last. No gimmicks. No odd pairs. Just the kind of basics we always wanted to wear.
PANDA is an experiment. In design, in business, and in doing something real with someone you trust. If you’re here reading this, it means something about what we’re building connected with you. That means a lot.
Thank you for being part of it.

Our Mission
At PANDA Socks, we believe the basics can be a force for good. We design ultra-soft, high-performance bamboo socks that use up to 50 percent less water and no chemical pesticides compared to conventional cotton. By offering both one-time purchases and a flexible subscription, we produce only what’s needed and reduce unnecessary waste from the start.
We're building PANDA step by step, with a clear focus on sustainability, transparency, and real impact.
Right now, we partner with certified textile recyclers to reduce waste during manufacturing. As we grow, we plan to launch the Sock Orphanage — a take-back program that lets customers return old, damaged, or mismatched socks so they can be recycled instead of trashed. By 2028, our goal is to reclaim at least 95 percent of all production and post-consumer waste.
We also plan to source all of our bamboo yarn from closed-loop textile manufacturers. These facilities reuse nearly all processing water and solvents, significantly reducing chemical runoff and eliminating wastewater pollution. It’s a cleaner, smarter way to make better basics.
Looking ahead, we aim to donate 5 percent of net profits to verified panda conservation initiatives through organizations like the World Wildlife Fund. Preserving wild pandas and their bamboo habitats is not only a cause we care about, it is directly connected to our materials and our mission.
PANDA Socks exists to prove that simple products, made with care and purpose, can have a real impact. This is just the beginning, and we’re glad you’re here with us.
